At TCL, we take on-site safety very seriously.  Our rigorous and continuously improved systems were aimed at ensuring 2006 and 2007 were an IIF (incident and injury free) years. To this effect, we are now approaching a target of 1,000,000 man hours without a single reportable accident.

TCL undertake monthly company-wide safety audits on every job as stipulated by our K.P.I. measurement system. On all TCL projects, effective procedures for the communication of Health & Safety information through check lists covering Risk Analysis, Safety at Work, Operation of Plant and Accident Reporting are continually monitored to ensure the highest achievable standards are met.

On any TCL project the appointed Project Manager will be directly employed and fully conversant with the Company’s Health & Safety objectives. He will have attended the various safety awareness training modules stipulated by our safety training plan , together with specific contract induction and tool box talks.  During 2007, all TCL directly employed Operations and Management personnel will have attained CSCS accreditation and nearly 100% of trade operatives now also have full accreditation.  In addition, the business has clearly defined safety training programmes for all personnel to reinforce the total commitment TCL has to safe working at all times.
